Life took us in slightly different directions for a while. Adeel got hands-on experience working in the busy textile world, and Daniyal learned the ins and outs of the leather business. Even though we were in different fields, we both saw the same thing happening: e-commerce was booming! Especially for fashion products like the ones we worked with.

It was exciting to see so many new brands popping up online. But there was another side to it. We also noticed that a lot of these new brands were really struggling to make it work. It wasn't usually about the product idea – those were often great! The real problem was in the day-to-day running of the business.

Trying to give online customers exactly what they wanted while also keeping up with all the complicated rules on platforms like Amazon was proving super tough for many. We saw good people, talented brand owners, getting stuck. They were either trying to juggle everything themselves or finding it almost impossible to hire the right people – folks who really understood online sales, marketing, and the platform rules.

These problems, along with maybe a few wrong turns in strategy, often led to big headaches and, unfortunately, watching a lot of hard-earned money go down the drain. Seeing how many people were facing the same issues, we started talking. Adeel knew Zohaib Zia, who's now a Director here at Shiftur and has a lot of business experience. Adeel invited Daniyal, and we all met up.

basically said, "Look, we know these industries, and we see where people are getting stuck. What if we could help them? What if we offered the clear direction and support they need? What if we could just make the whole process of building their brand online easier?" And that conversation, that idea of being the helpful partner we saw was missing, is exactly why Shiftur exists today.
